Dealing with the loss of a relationship or a loved one during the holidays can be challenging. The holidays generally involves family and friend getting together to celebrate. If you’re dealing with a loss, you may not feel like celebrating or have the energy to do so. You may be anticipating a difficult situation with your ex or well-meaning friends and family member who may be asking you questions that you feel uncomfortable answering or don’t want to answer. You may be feeling down, tired, isolated, and alone.
You can’t control other people and events, but you can create an effective self-care plan to care for yourself during the holidays.
Please join me, Andrea J. Weisbond, at Wekaw (wekaw.com) to create a self-care plan for the holidays. We’ll meet every Wednesday evening in December and be sharing tips for coping with the holidays, strategies for how to navigate holiday events, and ideas for how to best care for yourself.
